Although it is yet to be confirmed by the brand, it is now being given for sure that Xiaomi will be launching the new Mi Pad 5 series next month. This should include a total of three models, one low-end, one mid-range and one high-end.
Xiaomi Mi Pad 5: new leak reveals us the main specifications of the whole series
Well, today a Chinese leakster (Bald Panda) revealed that the first variant will be powered by the popular Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chip and will have support for 5G networks, along with a 10.95-inch LCD panel with a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate
We’ll then find a battery with 8,720mAh capacity and 67W fast charging support, a 48-megapixel camera and a side-facing fingerprint scanner. Finally, the tablet will have a thickness of 8.1mm and weigh 510 grams.
The second variant will also have the Snapdragon 870 chipset, but it won’t have 5G connectivity, it will be Wi-Fi only. The leakster claims that the Mi Pad 5 will have a 12-megapixel camera instead of 48-megapixel and will support 67W fast charging.
Rumors are swirling that its other specs are almost the same as the first variant, or at least that’s what we gather from the 3C certification in which we saw them with model numbers M210581AC and M210581C
Finally, we have a third third model that will adopt an LCD type display that supports 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The tablet will be powered by the SoC Snapdragon 860, will have a 12MP rear camera and support for 33W fast charging. At the moment, the third low-end model is thought to have already been nabbed on the certification site with the number 21051182C.
