According to several sources, Xiaomi will launch a variety of highly anticipated new products in August. In addition to the Xiaomi Mi MIX 4, which will feature an under-screen camera to achieve a true full-screen design, the brand is also expected to unveil the new Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 series.

Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 immortalized in the first real photo, denied arrival with MIUI 13

In this regard, some previous rumors gave the Mi MIX 4 and Mi Pad 5 series accompanied by the debut of the new MIUI 13 operating system, which will change the somewhat chaotic design of MIUI 12. The overall design of the UI will be simpler and at the same time fluid and functional. It will also bring some new multi-screen collaboration features.

However, according to the latest from well-known blogger Digital Chat Station, the MIUI 12.5 system has already been pre-installed on several Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 models, so it will be missing the upcoming MIUI 13 operating system. It is also thought that the launch of the OS will be postponed as it would not be possible to release it in August as planned.

Also in the day today, thanks to the Chinese blogger WHYLAB, has also leaked what should be the first real photo of the back cover of the tablet.

As we can see, the design is definitely similar to that of Apple’s latest iPad Pro, with a square-shaped opening for the camera module. The shape of the module also suggests that there will be more than one camera.

Finally, the low-end version will be equipped with a Snapdragon 7-series processor or alternatively the Dimensity 1200.

Between them, the high-end and mid-range versions will adopt a similar design, using a full unperforated panel with thin edges.

At the same time, the display quality of this screen will also be very good, with a 2K resolution supporting a refresh rate of 120Hz, a touch sampling rate of 240Hz. It will also feature 4096-level touch control and active pen with In-Cell technology.
