Xiaomi will hold an event tomorrow where it will present several electronic products. To the already announced Mi Mix 4 smartphone, it will add at least an update of its TVs and a new tablet.

The Xiaomi event will be held just one day before the Samsung Unpacked announced weeks ago. A full-fledged counter-programming with prominence for the Mi Mix 4, the new flagship of its smartphone catalog that will arrive with the front camera technology under the screen as a great novelty, added to a large OLED panel and Qualcomm’s most powerful chipset, the Snapdragon 888.

In the last few hours, Xiaomi has posted announcements on the social network Weibo to advance other products that it will present. One of them is a gaming-specific Mi OLED TV with support for NVIDIA’s G-Sync image synchronization system.

El evento de Xiaomi incluirá televisores Mi OLED para juegos y el tablet Mi Pad 5 30

With an OLED panel as the name suggests, they haven’t announced details on possible sizes, resolutions or refresh rates, but it aims to be the Chinese brand’s debut in the NVIDIA Big Format Gaming Display program, which includes huge diagonals, dedicated G-Sync modules and the most advanced version of the HDMI 2.1 interface.

Another product previewed for Xiaomi’s event was the Mi Pad 5 tablet. The firm has not updated its series of electronic tablets for some time and new models are needed if manufacturers working with Android do not want Apple to take over the market.

Xiaomi’s event comes at a time when data from analysis firms say that the Chinese brand has been able to outsell Samsung and Apple in the month of June worldwide. Something that had not happened until now and that has been made possible by an impressive rise in sales of Xiaomi, 83% more, as the culmination of a distribution strategy of terminals with remarkable value for money and that from its base in the huge market of China has ended up reaching all parts of the planet.
