Redmi 10 will be the next budget phone from the eponymous company that has always been the best when it comes to mid-range and mid-high end devices. But even the low-end ones can be considered masterpieces (or almost). And in this regard, let’s see what we know about the upcoming device that has been paparazzied on an online store in Singapore. All the traits of the Redmi 10 have emerged: specs, design and price. Here are the details.
Redmi 10 is expected to debut in September and while we wait, here are the design, specifications and retail price leaked from an online store
At a first glance, what’s jaw dropping about this Redmi 10 is the rear camera compartment. The cameras follow in a profound way what is the module of Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra, Xiaomi’s penultimate flagship and first to integrate (in an exclusive variant) the camera under the display
. Clearly we can not expect a UDC camera for this low-mid range, but all in all, the specifications bring it very close to a mid-range with all the trappings.
Redmi 10 is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G88
processor and runs Android 11 with MIUI 12. The retailer says that there will be only one version, or rather configuration: 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. Probably the brand has also thought about a less capacious variant, but we are not sure yet. As
for the display of Redmi 10, we have a 6.5″ IPS
with Full HD+ resolution and 90 Hz refresh rate.
This is the first time the company integrates a panel with 90Hz frame rate support on a device of this level. Continuing to see the screen specs, it is stated that Redmi 10 has a Gorilla Glass 3.
A profile detail (top and bottom) from which we can see the size of the camera compartment
The main camera is reminiscent of the camera of the Mi 10 Ultra. It consists of sensors with a resolution of 50 megapixels, 8 megapixels, 2 megapixels and 2 megapixels. The battery capacity of the smartphone is 5000 mAh, the maximum wired charging power is 18W. The dimensions are 162 x 75.3 x 8.95 mm and the model has three colors: blue, white and gray. The price of the Redmi 10 in this configuration is around €160 at current exchange rates.
As for the Italian/European price and launch date of the Redmi 10, unfortunately we don’t know anything official. We are however c
onvince that the brand will unveil it next month: September is a profitable period for smartphone releases.
