Evidently it had been too long since the last rebrand, as Xiaomi is reportedly preparing a “new” smartphone in the form of the POCO X3 GT. As we’ve known for quite some time now, there’s a dance of smartphones going on between Redmi and POCO, which are launched on an almost weekly basis with unchanged (or almost unchanged) specs but different names. And even this “unreleased” smartphone POCO should maintain what we can now call a tradition, despite having claimed otherwise in the past. I say this (and I use quotation marks) because in reality we should find ourselves in front of a smartphone already known before.
Update 26/07: POCO X3 GT has been spotted both on sale in a store and even in an unboxing video, in total indifference towards the presentation date. You can find all the details directly at the end of the article, including the video.

existence of this alleged POCO X3 GT was unearthed by insider Kacskrz, a member of the Xiaomi.EU team. It’s almost a coincidence that he was the one who revealed the upcoming debut of POCO F3 GT, revealing in advance that it would be a rebrand of Redmi K40 Gaming Edition
. Given the GT designation, again it leads us to think of a new exponent of the gaming category, but the reality is different.
POCO X3 GT in fact is indeed a rebrand, but not of a gaming phone, but of Redmi Note 10 Pro (China). The final proof comes from a string of MIUI code in which the codename chopin (of the Redmi model) is superimposed on that of POCO X3 GT, namely chopin_global. The newcomer of the Redmi house was launched not too long ago in China
but then arrives in a Global version, albeit under a different name (since there is already a Redmi Note 10 Pro in Europe and India).
Confirming the whole thing are the official renders leaked in these hours, where we can see that indeed X3 GT is almost identical, even in colors, to the Chinese twin branded Redmi. As a result, the spec sheet you find below is absolutely legitimate.
If so, its main features would be a 6.6″ FHD+ 120 Hz IPS screen, MediaTek Dimensity 1100 5G, 5,000 mAh battery with 67W charging and 64+8+2 MP triple camera. Below you can find the full spec sheet of Redmi Note 10 Pro (China), with all the details.

POCO X3 GT -Price and releaseThe
unveiling date of the “new” POCO X3 GT is set for July 28, 2021, in various Asian countries (we still do not know if and when it will arrive in our latitudes). Meanwhile, the device has already been spotted for sale normally in an Iraqi store. If you think this is a lot, wait until you see the video below: a real unboxing that reveals all (or almost) the details of the smartphone.
The device will also debut in India and thanks to this video we can take a closer look. The rumors instead continue with what should be the prices at the debut. We start with the 6/128 GB version that should cost around €261 (1,299 Malaysian ringgit exchange rate), while the maximum 8/256 GB version could cost around €321 (1,599 Malaysian ringgit).
POCO X3 GT will feature MediaTek Dimensity 1100 Chipset.
Launching on 28th July In Malaysia.
Expected Varient and Price
6+128GB = RM 1299

However, there’s also talk of early bird pricing, in true POCO style, which would result in the X3 GT costing around €241 (1,199 ringgit) and around €281 (1,399 ringgit) at launch respectively. In short, prices probably framed with what this smartphone offers. The hope is that it will also arrive here, although we don’t know when, as it would feed the brand’s increasingly interesting catalogue in no small part.
