The purpose of the Open Beta is to let people try out new features in advance, with the aim of getting feedback before their release on the stable OxygenOS.

How to install
re the OxygenOS Open Beta after downloadingThe
installation procedure of the OxygenOS Open Beta is the same for all OnePlus smartphone models listed here. Once you have downloaded the corresponding ZIP file, you need to move it to the root folder of your device’s internal memory. Now go to the “System Updates” section from Settings and click on the gear icon in the top right corner. In the options that will appear select “Local update
” and select the Open Beta that you copied to the smartphone.
Once the installation is complete, you’ll have your OxygenOS Open Beta running on your OnePlus smartphone. From now on you will receive an OTA notification when a new version of the Beta is eventually available. In order to avoid possible issues, switching from Stable OxygenOS to Open Beta we recommend making a backup and then formatting the memory to have a “cleaner” installation.
How to rollbackIn
case you want to roll back to the previous firmware, you need to download the rollback package for your OnePlus model. Copy it to your smartphone memory, go to “Settings/System/System updates“, click on the top right corner, select “Local update
