Watch 2 follows what we saw with the first chapter (by the way, have you had a look Once again we find curved edges, an AMOLED panel with dimensions of 1.75″ (430 x 372 pixels, 326 PPI) for the 42 mm variant and 1.91″ (476 x 402 pixels, 326 PPI) for the 46 mm model. The two physical buttons on the right frame remain unchanged, useful for moving around the UI and interacting with the smartwatch. The weight of the 46 mm version is about 35 grams while in the case of the younger brother it drops to 32 grams. In both cases the display offers a refresh rate of 60 Hz.
Hardware & software
Obviously – as anticipated by the same company – the heart of OPPO Watch 2 is represented by the latest Snapdragon Wear 4100, a big step forward compared to the previous generation. In addition, the same company has announced a collaboration with Ambip: the Watch 2 series has its Apollo 4s chip, a solution that promises low power consumption and increased autonomy. Lato memories we have 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of storage.

The smartwatch is equipped with Ultra Dynamic Dual Engine (UDDE) technology, which further extends battery life
. It’s no
coincidence that one of the strengths of the wearable is its battery life, as announced earlier by OPPO itself.
OPPO Watch 2 offers a respectable battery life: we’re talking about a wearable that can go up to 4 days (96 hours) of use on a single charge, in Smart mode. However, with the Energy Saver mode you can get up to 16 days of battery life. At present there would be better only TicWatch Pro 3
using the trick of the Dual-layer Display 2.0 (monochrome solution FSTN LCD to be activated instead of the main panel). Charging is via VOOC 2.0 fast technology: 10 minutes will be enough to take advantage of 1 day of use.
Speaking of software, however, it is safe to assume that the international version of these
wearable will come with Google’s WearOS; on the other hand, the Chinese version of the range debuts instead with ColorOS, based on Android (8.1) and RTOS. There’s obviously no shortage of GPS and NFC, as well as eSIM support with LTE connectivity.
We conclude with the health and fitness features: OPPO Watch 2 offers over 100 sports modes, H24 heart rate monitoring, SpO2, sleep, snoring and stress control and so on: in short, the usual package we are used to.
