lank” rel=”nofollow noopener”>In late May, the Reno 6 series debuted in three versions, with Qualcomm’s Dimensity 900, 1200 and Snapdragon 870. For the international release, the Chinese manufacturer presented only two models, leaving out the larger variant. Thus, we have OPPO Reno 6 and Reno 6 Pro, equipped with the same features as their counterparts launched in China.oppo reno 6 globaloppo reno 6 global

In the case of OPPO Reno 6 we have a 6.5″ Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED display in 20:9 aspect ratio, with 90 Hz refresh rate. This is a flat solution while the overall look of the device is decidedly boxy and stylish. The older sibling Reno 6 Pro on the other hand adopts a screen with curved edges, once again a 6.5″ Full HD+ AMOLED panel.

In the case of the Pro model, the shapes are more tapered, with a double front/back curvature. The layout of the camera remains unchanged in the two models but in the Pro we find four sensors (in the version st

andard we have a triple camera instead). Both feature a fingerprint reader under the display.

Hardware and cameraOPPO

Reno 6 Global, like its Chinese counterpart, mounts a Dimensity 900 chipset from MediaTek accompanied by 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of UFS 2.1 storage. The battery is a 4,300 mAh unit with 65W fast charging. Moving on to the big brother Reno 6 Pro, in this case the SoC is the Dimensity 1200

, with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Fast charging doesn’t change while the battery goes up to 4,500 mAh.

Moving on to the camera department, the two smartphones feature a 32 MP selfie camera inserted in a punch hole. For Reno 6, we have a 64 MP triple main camera with wide angle and macro; for the Pro model, we switch to a 64 + 8 + 2 + 2 MP Quad Camera with wide angle, macro and a portrait module.

Reno 6 Pro+ Global: is there room for him too?

In recent weeks, the FCC has certified a smartphone with the initials CPH2247, a device that measures 160.8 x 72.5 x 7.99 mm and weighs 188 grams. These dimensions belong to the Reno 6 Pro+ model, which was launched in China. At this point the question arises: will the Pro+ model also arrive?

absolute certainty and at least in India we only had the 6 and 6 Pro siblings. Wanting to make a guess, we could imagine the presence of an “alternative” OPPO Reno 6 Pro meant for other markets. This smartphone would not be the Chinese Pro but the Pro+. What changes with this variant?

In this case we will have a 6.55″ Full HD+ OLED panel at 90 Hz while slightly changing the layout of the camera. This then would have from its sensors 50 + 16 + 13 + 2 MP (with wide angle, telephoto and macro), with main module Sony IMX766. Another difference concerns the chipset, this time Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870. Battery and charging follow the Pro model (4,500 mAh, 65W).

OPPO Reno 6 and 6 Pro Global official: price and availabilityThe

OPPO Reno 6 Global is priced at around €341 at the current exchange rate (Rs. 29,990) for the 8/128 GB version alone. The 12/256 GB variant, which is reserved for the OPPO Reno 6 Pro Global, on the other hand, is priced at around €454 at the current exchange rate, or Rs. 39,990. Both the smartphones will go on sale in India from July, in Stellar Black and Aurora colourways.

Presumed price

EuropeLooking then to the landing in Europe, until now there was no real news, since until this OPPO has focused the campaign and the launch in the Indian market only, but in these hours has surfaced a leak that shows what are the alleged prices for the European market OPPO Reno 6 and 6 Pro, which, however, are much higher than those in India

.

In fact, the base model is expected to cost around €490 (in Arctic Blue and Stellar Black colorways), while the Pro model goes up to €790 (with Arctic Blue and Lunar Grey colorways). That much higher price suggests that perhaps in Europe the OPPO Reno 6 Pro is actually a rebrand of the Pro+, but that remains to be seen, not least because it would actually be unlikely to see a Dimensity 1200 cost that much.
