Nintendo 3DS Game News: a new update deployed, 8 months after the last one

We’re not sure why, but the 3DS has just been granted a brand new update, more than eight months after the previous one. So its description is known, but don’t expect anything exciting.

The last update was in November 2020: since then, we can say that Nintendo’s handheld has been almost abandoned. No, it hasn’t! There are still a few bumps in the road, such as this new update that was unexpectedly deployed and which upgraded the firmware to version 11.15.0-47. The description of the update will hardly surprise you, as it’s about “improvements to the overall stability of the system and other minor adjustments to improve the user experience”.

Just yesterday, a new clue pointed to the machine’s gradual decline with an alleged message from Nintendo to developers, warning them that new games would no longer be accepted on the 3DS eShop (and not only

). Not sure there are many more updates planned by Big N for the little beast, if not to counter potential piracy. Profil de Max_Cagnard, Jeuxvideo.com By Max_Cagnard, Journalist jeuxvideo.com
