Livoo is a small appliance manufacturer whose catalogue is as rich as it is attractive, since it charges low prices. Among this profusion of items, the Super Cooker, a food processor sold for less than 300 €.
Livoo’s catalogue is like Ali Baba’s cave, it has everything! Small household appliances and connected home appliances, kitchen utensils, garden tools… But all of them have the particularity of being sold at low prices. And in this merry mess, the Super Cooker stands out. Outwardly reminiscent of the first Kenwood kCook, this multifunctional food processor is compact. On the motor block, there is a 3.5-liter bowl with a useful capacity of 2.3 liters, which is not much more than that of the Thermomix TM6, limited to four people.
Because of its price positioning, this food processor is not equipped with a touch screen and therefore does not have a guided cooking function. Instead, there is a control panel from which the user can manually set the temperature between 37 and 120 °C (in increments of 5 °C), the speed of the blades (on 12 levels with a Pulse mode) and a timer up to 90 min.

Obviously, no automatic cooking or preparation program is integrated into the device and we will have to rely on the recipe books provided with the robot. On the other hand, the Super Cooker does include a scale, which is far from being a detail since some high-end food processors, such as the Magimix Cook Expert Premium XL or Moulinex i-Companion Touch XL, come with a scale as an accessory.
As for accessories, Livoo is not very original: the Super Cooker comes with a whisk, an inner and upper steam basket, a four-blade knife, a blender, a spatula and a recipe book.
Launched at €289, the Livoo Super Cooker is available from many retailers for under €200. If, like the DOH105G bagless vacuum cleaner tested in the lab, the Super Cooker fulfils its objectives, then it’s a good choice. It could boast a good price/performance ratio.
