On sale in all IKEA stores from October 2021 will be the new assortment of gaming desks, chairs and accessories developed by IKEA in collaboration with Republic of Gamers (ROG) by Asus, first unveiled in February in China. Gaming enthusiasts will easily be able to create a custom workstation that will not only blend in with their home decor, but also help them improve their gaming performance.

There are about 2.5 billion gamers in the world and the market is constantly growing. That’s why IKEA, inspired by the vision of creating a better everyday life for the majority of people, has decided to design an offer specifically for these enthusiasts. IKEA has always developed smart furniture solutions, but gaming is an area still being explored.

To meet the needs of these customers, IKEA has partnered with industry experts Republic of Gamers (ROG). ROG, an ASUS family brand, is recognized for innovative and high-quality hardware solutions.

ROG wants to find new ways to integrate gaming into the home. Leveraging the strengths of both companies, the collaboration aims to democratize the gaming experience by creating functional, well-designed, and affordable products and solutions that make it easy for gamers to create their ideal gaming environment.

“Gamers around the world know and appreciate the ROG brand and have come to expect great creative innovation from it,” said Kris Huang, General Manager Gaming Gear and Accessory Business Unit at ASUS. “Our partnership with the experts at IKEA will allow ROG to wow gamers with new and exciting solutions within the home.”

The new gaming assortment is aimed at computer gamers and includes 6 product lines: UPPSPEL, LĂ…NESPELARE, MATCHSPEL, GRUPPSPEL, UTESPELARE and HUVUDSPELARE. IKEA and RoG from ASUS have designed all UPPSPEL items in close cooperation.
