Available since November 2020 all over the world, the PlayStation 5 and the PS5 Digital Edition are the new consoles from Sony. As always, a new machine means a new controller! With the PS5, Sony is going all in on your senses with the DualSense, a pretty incredible controller(review available right here), which could clearly be the revolution of this generation. Thanks to its haptic vibrations, you can now feel in-game sensations like never before. The adaptive triggers also accentuate the immersion and the 3D sound comes full circle. A real technological gem!
Despite many rumors about a black controller, Sony has chosen to offer only one color for its DualSense: white. We’ll have to wait until the second quarter of 2021 for two new colors to be announced with the DualSense Midnight Black and the Cosmic Red.

DualSense – White
The first version of the DualSense, available since November 2020, is the two-color model. In white and black, this is the official PS5 controller. It comes as a bundle with all PS5 and PS5 Digital Edition, but can also be purchased on its own from most retailers. It is a white controller (front and back), with all white action buttons, a lower part with the joysticks and the PlayStation logo in black.

DualSense – Midnight Black
The second version of the DualSense, available since May 2021 is the Midnight Black model. This controller is not sold in a pack and can only be bought alone at most retailers. It is a full black DualSense, with all the action buttons, the bottom part with the joystick and the PlayStation logo in black.

DualSense – Cosmic Red
The third version of the DualSense, available since May 2021 is the Cosmic Red model. This controller is not sold in a pack and can only be bought alone at most retailers. It is a DualSense bi-colour, in red (front and back) and black (bottom part). All the action buttons are red. The lower part with the joystick and the PlayStation logo are black.
