Chuwi HeroBox Pro is the latest computer marketed by the Chinese manufacturer that has redefined the concept of “economic” PC and if the most interesting of its catalog goes through its laptops, it also offers a good collection of mini-PCs or tablets.

Chuwi HeroBox Pro is a mini-computer updated to the ‘Jasper Lake‘ processing platform, one of the four that Intel has prepared for launch in 2021. These are the processors aimed at the lower end of the computer market, with Intel Pentium Silver and Celeron N-series models aimed at entry-level laptops or mini-PCs.

Chuwi uses a Celeron N4500 CPU, the most basic of this platform with 2 cores up to 2.8 GHz, but capable of playing 4K video thanks to its 11th generation Intel UHD graphics. It is accompanied by 8 Gbytes of DDR4 RAM on board and a 256 Gbyte M.2 SSD. There is also space for a SATA hard drive inside a chassis made of aluminum and dimensions of 18 x 13 cm.

It supports Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 4.2, and features four USB 3.0 and 2.0 Type A ports, a USB Type C port, a microSD card reader, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Chuwi HeroBox Pro is sold on Aliexpress in various configurations for a price starting at a very cheap €167.
