Canon is celebrating the tenth anniversary of the “Cinema EOS” professional video camera system by participating as a Digital Imaging Supporter at the 78th Venice International Film Festival scheduled to take place from 1 to 11 September 2021, a support that the company will also personally reinforce at the end of the year with “La Grande Occasione”, the competition with which Canon rewards the talent and creativity of independent videomakers and filmmakers.
As we were saying, the company’s technologies and skills in this sector have always been at the service of cinematographic and photographic art “to tell stories, focusing on creativity, quality and expressive power” and, as has happened in previous editions of the event, the company will provide its system of solutions for image acquisition and services designed for photographers and videomakers committed to documenting and telling, through images, the faces and emotions that animate this important event.
In the Canon Professional Service area, with direct access to the press room, accredited photojournalists and videographers will be able to take advantage of the highest level of consultancy and technical support: Canon experts will be on hand to ensure maximum efficiency of the equipment. In this area, professionals will also be able to try out Canon’s latest innovations, including the brand’s flagship EOS-1DX Mark III and the revolutionary Canon EOS R system, including the well-known EOS R5 and EOS R6, and RF lenses, which have redefined the boundaries of photography and video shooting, expanding creative possibilities. The EOS C70, the next generation camcorder designed to be the perfect meeting point between film and interchangeable lens cameras, will also be present in Venice.
Finally, Canon is supporting the activities of the Biennale Cinema 2021 with its Managed Print Service solutions for Workspace Collaboration: an ecosystem of solutions and services for the integrated management of print flows and document digitisation processes, creating a shared and widespread, flexible and interconnected workplace that embraces all the organisational offices of the Venice Film Festival and the press room, offering efficiency and rapid action to respond to all needs.
